The Fluidampr is a highly engineered product design to reduce harmful vibrations in the crankshaft drive , resulting in prolonged engine life , smoother running and increased performance. TSR Performance have been running these in our race car programme and drivers feedback is that you can feel the reduced harshness of the engine. With cylinder pressures so high in todays high powered turbo engines the crankshaft is regularly seeing very high loads causing a small amount of twist each time the engine fires , this in turn generates unwanted torsional vibrations that are removed by the Fluidampr. In engines that often have balance shafts deleted and solid/lighter flywheels the Fluidampr is really a must.
