HISTORY OF TSR PERFORMANCE
Since it’s grassroots inception in the early 90’s, TSR Performance has seen huge development and growth. From a project that started in a garden shed to a facility that is now over 3000sq/ft and recognised by the automotive industry as an international supplier for the performance VAG market, TSR Performance strive to push the boundaries of what can be capable with a VW, Audi, Skoda or Porsche. Our current site is fully outfitted with a 4WD rolling road, MOT test centre, dynamic balacing facilities and a rottweiler named Princess.
Tim Stiles, the man behind the TSR Performance badge, handed the business off to new owners in the early 2000’s and it has been the focus and drive of the current team to give the automotive industry what it is crying out for. A comprehensive workshop that can prepare cars for circuit racing, build engines for production competition racing or carry out a simple MOT. TSR Performance never look at a task and say no. We look at what you need and deliver. Robert Ellick and his family have since bestowed TSR Performance back to it’s former glory and show no signs of stopping!
The dedication we have shown to the VAG tuning industry has allowed us to work with our partners and sponsors to design and manufacture custom made parts for everyone to buy. Need a manifold for your Mk2 GTI? We worked closely with Milltek to produce a full system that you can fit off the shelf.
We have a fantastic reputation for building some truly mental cars. Fancy a Mk2 Golf with a 20v conversion? What about a VW Caddy with an R32 engine? Or perhaps a Seat Leon with a Golf R 4WD system? If you have an idea you would like to synthesise into an insane build, we have enough experience to figure out how to do it and the dedication to get it done the way you want it.
TSR Performance have been lucky enough to be shown hospitality from all ends of the automotive industry recognition by the likes of Fifth Gear, Performance VW, Golf+ Magazine. Audi Driver and we are also the exclusive UK distributor for a multiplitude of class leading brands such as Quaife, Powerflex, Superpro, Milltec, Z.R.P and Wossner. We recognise these achievements with great pride as it’s due to our relentless compassion for all things automotive that rewarded us with these precious alliances.
