TSR Performance Built Engine to run in the controlled TTCR series (Audi TT).
A serviceable donor engine is required for this build, this is particularly critical as the standard bore size and piston set is retained.
Due to the age and mileage these engines are generally at, we see many issues with standard un-touched engines when being used on the track and as such we advise that all engines are stripped, cleaned and refreshed before being used on circuit.
Although this is an additional expense to building the car, it does save money long term as often a Test Day or Race Event is cut short due to engine issues (Low Oil Pressure, Head Gasket/Overheating for example) but also if used with these underlying issues it is very easy to write off the existing engine, meaning it is not serviceable/suitable for rebuild.

All our engines are built on a service exchange basis, our preferred method is to receive your own engine and carry out the upgrades to this. This allows us to check if there is any problems with your engine that would stop it being suitable for exchange and if required advise of costs to repair and keeps the original engine and numbers with the car. Examples of damage that would not come under the standard rebuild are corrosion to water jackets that is often seen and is sometimes irreparable. All our engines are built to order and can take 4-8 weeks depending on the complexity and our workload.
